Vaginal repair of vaginal prolapse

Although urologists deal much more lften with urinary stress incontinence than with vaginal prolapse, they need to handle a safe and easy procedure to cure the elderly females presenting with mild incontinence and major vaginal prollapse. The technique we describe is derived grom the Manchester operation and is easy to perform and very versatile : the three steps, anterior colporraphy, amputation of them according to the patient's type of lesion, as determined through clinical examination. The videotape demonstrates these steps live and in sketches. It shows that this opperation leaves a restored vagina in both direction and capacity, thus allowing these patients to resume normal sexual life.
