Leili Anvar, maître de conférences en littérature persane à l'INALCO, et le Docteur Mahmoud Motaghedi, poète, chercheur en littérature persane et critique littéraire, présentent dans cet entretien les différents aspects du Ta'arof, une politesse codifiée spécifique à l'Iran dont le concept est difficile à cerner et représenter. Caractéristique linguistique et sociale, le Ta'arof joue un rôle primordial dans la construction identitaire du peuple iranien et fait appel au dualisme de la pensée iranienne. Developing Ottoman education in Southern Transjordan in the late 19th century

In the late 19th century, the Ottoman reassertion of power in the Southern regions of the Bilâd al-Sham went along with the implementation of new educational policies fitting the reforms (Tanzimat) agenda.
