Éliézer Oubda est ingénieur du son, réalisateur d'enregistrements musicaux et professeur. Il est le propriétaire du studio Hope Muziks à Ouagadougou au Burkina Faso. Depuis 2010, il est le responsable technique du Festival sur le Niger au Mali. Il donne des formations aux métiers du son partout en Afrique Sub saharienne. De janvier 2007 à janvier 2011, il était l'ingénieur du son résident du studio Bogolan à Bamako au Mali. Au fil de sa carrière, il a notamment travaillé avec les musiciens Mathieu Shedid dit "M", Cheick Tidiane Seck, Ali Farka Touré, François Bréant, Vieux Farka Touré, Oumou Sangaré, Bassékou Kouyaté, Amadou & Mariam, Lokua kanza, Salif Kéïta, Alif Naaba, Moyize Mutangana, Pape Diouf, Heather Maxwell, Rokia Traoré, et Pibo Markez. Ses enregistrements ont été produits par des labels tels qu'Universal Music, World Circuit ou Outhere Music.

Eliot Bates is an ethnomusicologist and technology studies scholar who researches recording production and the social lives of musical instruments and studio technologies. A UC Berkeley graduate and ACLS New Faculty Fellow, he is currently on the faculty of the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. He has authored two books: Digital Tradition: Arrangement and Labor in Istanbul’s Recording Studio Culture (OUP, 2016), and Music in Turkey: Experiencing Music, Expressing Culture (OUP, 2011), and with Samantha Bennett coedited Critical Approaches to the Production of Music and Sound (Bloomsbury, 2018). He has contributed to over 80 albums and film scores as an engineer, producer or studio musician.

Hailing from Edmonton, Leonard is in his third year of the Digital Audio Arts program. He has been involved in numerous music and film-related projects over the past decade and is pursuing a career in the audio engineering industry.
