Descriptif
Florence Egal (Senior Consultant, Urban-Rural Linkages, UN-Habitat) looks back at 75 years of agricultural and food policies: since the Second World War, how globalised food systems geared towards intensive production and large-scale distribution have led to the social and environmental dysfunctions we see today. The various factors that determine this situation are discussed, and the need to return to territorial systems that allow for healthy and sustainable regimes is concluded.
