Mitra, Subrata Kumar (1949-.... ; professeur)
Subrata K. Mitra (Ph.D. in political science, University of Rochester), is professor and head, Department of political science at the South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University, and a visiting fellow at the Centre for the Study of Developing Societies, Delhi.
He is the author of The Puzzle of India’s Governance: Culture, Context and Comparative Theory (Routledge, 2005), and editor of Heidelberg Papers in South Asian and Comparative Politics, and academic editor of the series Advances in South Asian Studies (Routledge).
Subrata Mitra was the president of the Research Committee on Political Sociology of the International Political Science Association and the International Sociological Association (2002-2006).
