Johannes Fournier
"Gold Open Access charges at the national and institutional level in Germany" Johannes Fournier studied German language and literature, history, and philosophy at the University of Trier and wrote a doctoral dissertation on a text in Middle High German. After his PhD in 1997, he became research assistant and deputy director of the Center for Electronic Publication and Retrieval in the Humanities at Trier University. In August 2003, he joined the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the Academic Libraries and Information Systems division (LIS) where he is in charge of the funding programme “Electronic Publishing”. Johannes oversees the DFG’s open access activities, ranging from numerous DFG-funded projects in the area of open access repositories as well as journals to the involvement in national and European open access initiatives.
