Biographie : Marc Treib (United-States) is Professor of Architecture Emeritus at the University of California, Berkeley. As a historian and critic of landscape architecture and architecture he has published widely on modern and historical subjects in the United States, Japan, and Scandinavia. Among his books are Modern Landscape Architecture: A Critical Review (editor); The Architecture of Landscapes, 1940–1960 (editor); A Guide to the Gardens of Kyoto (co-author), and most recently, The Shape of the Land: Topography and Landscape Architecture (editor), and Noguchi's Gardens: Landscape as Sculpture.
