Descriptif

In the wake of the COP21 and IFEA Environmental studies, the IFEA is pleased to host the workshop entitled « Climate Change in Turkey. Diachronic and Pluridisciplinary Approaches ». Academicians from various disciplines and experts from both Turkey and France will analyse together Turkey’s present situation towards climate change in the light of long term evolution, as well as global, regional, and national dynamics. Social and environmental detrimental consequences of Turkey’s public policies linked to climate change,  as well as possible alternatives, in terms of development perspectives, urbanization, or energy choice, will also be assessed.
