Le Système international d'unités en 2018 : les constantes qui donnent la mesure
Les définitions des unités fondamentales du système international ont été modifiées par la 26ème Conférence Générale des Poids et Mesures (CGPM), qui s'est tenue à Versailles en novembre 2018. Les unités fondamentales reposent désormais sur la fixation des valeurs de quelques constantes universelles. Les nouvelles définitions entrent en application le 20 mai prochain. Cela ne devrait rien changer dans la vie courante, mais en enseignement et en recherche...
