Geomedia Concluding Workshop - Structure and Dynamics of Media Flows - 7&8 juillet 2016
Description
Closing Event of the ANR Corpus Geomedia project, INA, 7&8 July 2016
ANR Corpus Géomédia – Observatory of International Media Flows – 2013-2016
The objective of the ANR Corpus Géomédia was to set up a tool to capture RSS feeds concerning international news from a hundred or so newspapers around the world (French, English and Spanish speaking) and then to answer several research questions: What is an event? How can we explain the under- or over-representation of certain spaces or actors? Can we model the circulation of information on a global scale?
This closing event presents the main results of this multidisciplinary and international research.
