In this new episode of "One Month, One Lab", join Jean-François Caron, a researcher at the Navier Laboratory, as he explores the European LIAISON project, which aims to reduce the environmental impact of infrastructure.
The team is working on the design of optimized reinforced concrete beams that are lighter and more material-efficient, thanks to digital modeling and 3D concrete printing.
With up to 50% less concrete, these innovations pave the way for more sustainable and circular construction, already tested on Grand Paris construction sites and on a demonstration footbridge in Poland.
