De Moraes Vasconcelos Gama, Fabiene

Fabiene Gama est doctorante en sociologie et anthropologie à l’Université fédérale de Rio de Janeiro (Brésil), où elle fait partie du Núcleo de Experimentações em Etnografia e Imagem (NEXTimagem). Elle est également enseignante associée au Núcleo de Antropologia e Imagem de l’Université d’état de Rio de Janeiro et collabore à la revue scientifique Cadernos de Antropologia e Imagem (Cahiers d´anthropologie et image). Elle est spécialiste en anthropologie urbaine et visuelle et actuellement poursuit des recherches dans le domaine de l'autoreprésentation photographique des groupes subordonnés, en particulier ceux qui sont impliqués dans le mouvement d´inclusion visuel.
Fabiene Gama is a PhD student in sociology and anthropology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she is part of the Núcleo de Experimentações em Etnografia e Imagem (NEXTimagem). She is also an associate professor at the Núcleo de Antropologia e Imagem at the Sate University of Rio de Janeiro and works with the scientific journal Cadernos de Antropologia e Imagem (Journal of Anthropology and Images). Her main areas of interest are urban and visual anthropology, and her current work explores the field of photographic self-representation among subordinated groups, particularly those involved in the movement for visual inclusion.
