Latour, David (1978-....)

David LATOUR est PRAG d'anglais titulaire à la faculté de médecine de Clermont-Ferrand (France), et appartient au laboratoire Réceptions et Médiations de Littératures et de Cultures Étrangères et Comparées (REMELICE, EA 4709) de l’Université d’Orléans (France). En 2014, il a soutenu sa thèse sur "L’éthique écologique chez H.D. Thoreau" sous la direction de Gérard Hugues. En 2016, il a participé au colloque international d'Écopoétique "Dwellings of Enchantement" (Perpignan) avec l'intervention « Sean Penn’s Into the Wild or Filming Nature with/and Passion ». En 2019, il a participé à trois colloques : "Animal Love" (Toulouse) avec une intervention intitulée « Brown dog of the Yaak and Colter by Rick Bass or a tribute to human-dog companionship », "Reenchanting Urban Wilderness" à Perpignan, avec l’intervention « Le rat des villes et l'humain : du porteur de la peste au compagnon enchanteur de ‘Ratatouille’ » et  "The Desert and the USA", à Lorient, avec l'intervention « Cormac McCarthy-The Road (2006) : Le Désert ou la nature en négatif ». En juillet 2020, il a participé au colloque en ligne "Humanities on the Brink: energy, environment and emergency", sponsorisé par l'ASLE et hébergé par l'université de Californie, Santa Barbara, avec l'intervention « Solarpunk ecology: imagining a political, social and aesthetic nature for the future » et il a publié un article « Le goût amer du miel : penser un avenir commun pour l’abeille, l’homme et la planète. » dans la revue Sociétés (n°148, 2020/2).
