In this video, Sarah Marniesse,Director of the Department of Research and Innovation Mobilisation at IRD untilJune 2018, and now Head of AFD's Development Campus, outlines the 17Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the context of building the sustainabledevelopment agenda and how it differs from the MDG (Millennium DevelopmentGoals) agenda. She also explains what the targets and monitoring indicatorsassociated with these SDGs are. Finally, she discusses the feasibility ofimplementing this agenda.
