Interview with Gregory Jackson

Gregory Jackson is Professor of Management of the Freie Universität Berlin (FUB). He was interviewed during the SASE 2018 Annual Meeting held in Kyoto in June 2018.His research, which examines how corporate governance and corporate social responsibility, is influenced by diverse institutional contexts. He approaches cross-national comparison using multi-level statistical modelling, Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) and historical case studies of Germany, Japan, the UK and USA. His interdisciplinary work links organizational theory, economic sociology, and comparative political economy.He is a core member of the INCAS Project, a collaborative project seeking to build a top-level research and advanced training network on institutional change in Asia, in comparative perspective with Europe.From January to February 2019, he will take part in the EHESS Visiting Scholar Program and give a series of four conferences.
