Societal Changes and the Choice for Place of Residence / Sebastian Lentz, in colloque "Comprendre les mondes sociaux 2014", organisé par Le Labex Structuration des Mondes Sociaux (SMS) de l'Université Toulouse Jean-Jaurès-campus Mirail. Toulouse, Centre de congrès Pierre Baudis, 7-9 avril 2014.

The rise of city regions with their functionally specialised centres and sub-centres has widened the palette for the choices for places of residence. Especially in agglomerations such spatial-structural development, gender and family images, time and space-consumption. The presentation is abaout approaches and results of a comparative research project in three polycentric regions in Germany.
