Dr. Jérôme Devaux is a Lecturer in French and Translation Studies at the Open University (UK).

His research interests lie in the use of remote technologies in public service interpreting, and its effect on the interpreter-mediated interaction.  Recently, he co-edited a special volume on teaching Translation and Interpreting in virtual environments.
