Descriptif
This paper will provide a review of workbeing undertaken to bring together the consideration of nature and culture inpolicies, programmes and practices of the World Heritage Convention, and alinked series of renewed collaborations and new relationships between thenature and culture sectors. Theseinclude the integrated nature-culture programmes Connecting Practice, and WorldHeritage Leadership, and the CultureNature Journey promoted through the major Congresses of IUCN and GeneralAssemblies of ICOMOS. The paper willreview some of the emerging opportunities to scale up the attention toconnecting nature and culture going forward.
