Eurosul est une équipe de recherche conjointe qui vient d'être créée entre le GERCIE (Faculté de Droit de Tours) et la post-graduation de la faculté de droit de l'université de Salvador de bahia au Brésil (UFBA) afin de développer des projets de recherche communs portant sur une approche comparatiste de l'Union Européenne et du Mercosul sur le thème des responsabilités. Le projet soumis à la MSH consiste à créer désormais un véritable réseau Eurosul en associant d'autres équipes de recherche venant d'autres états et en s'appuyant sur une coopération initiée lors du premier colloque franco-brésilien de 2006 entre juristes et économistes. Le GERCIE iansi que le LEO, qui vient de s'associer à ce projet, entendent ainsi mener une activité de prospection afin de convaincre d'autres universités européennes et sud-américaines de renforcer Eurosul. Le Portugal et l'Argentine devraient, dans un premier temps, être privilégiés. Une mission dans chacun de ces états est prévue pour 2014 (avec organisation à l'occasion du séminaire de travail sur le théme responsabilité et ressources naturelles). Le second volet du projet consiste à renforcer sa visibilité et son attractivité par la création d'un site Web permettant d'assurer une large diffusion des travaux conjoints réalisés par Eurosul. Le recours à des visoconférences devrait également permettre, entre deux rencontres, de maintenir les échanges entre enseignants-chercheurs et doctorants du réseau.
