Descriptif
In two samples, the question is whether or not they come from the same population. The starting hypothesis is the null hypothesis (H0), which considers that the 2 samples come from the same population. Therefore, the approach is to test this hypothesis before retaining (conserved H0) or rejecting it and concluding in favor of the alternative hypothesis (H1) according to which the 2 samples come from 2 distinct populations.
