Descriptif
After a reminder of the risk of rejecting H0, while H0 is true (alpha risk), the risk of not rejecting H0 while H1 is true (beta risk or second species) is explained.
The complement to 1 of this beta risk is the Power of the test which is explained by comparing it to the visual power when we observe a double star with the naked eye or use a pair of binoculars. Viewers are reminded that the Power of the test must be anticipated before the study.
