AboutBRIO Siric challenges and actions
BRIO’s strategic objective is to strengthen Bordeaux’s leadership in CancerResearch through the creation of a dynamic cancer research community, thepursuit of scientific excellence and the establishment of state-of-the-arttransversal platforms. To achieve these strategic objectives, great emphasiswas placed over the last year in the consolidation of governance mechanismsconducive to an all-inclusive approach leading to a significant strengtheningof relations between consortium members and local stakeholders. Capitalizing onthese governance mechanisms, BRIO’s activities and financial interventions havebeen aligned with the strategic objectives and gradually shifted fromstructural support (programs, axes) to competitive interventions capable ofsupporting scientific excellence in established and emerging research themes.Further integration with local stakeholders in the value-chains relevant totranslational research in cancer will be pursued to maximise impact onpatient’s care and local development.
Cette présentation a été donnée dans le cadre du BRIO SIRICscientific day 3 organisé annuellement par le SIRIC BRIO et qui a pour but deréunir tous les acteurs du SIRIC BRIO et plus largement de la cancérologie àBordeaux.
