Descriptif

Inspired by chemical subtleties at the activesites of enzymes dealing with the CO2 management in our biosphere,we will discuss on how hydrogen bonding and electrostatic effects may thrivethe catalytic power molecular catalysts.[1]Photosystem II is the only enzyme that can capture sunlight to extractelectrons and protons from water that are expelled in the form of reducedquinones. We have developed nanostructured conjugated polymers that can act asphotocatalysts to replicate the functions of Photosystem II.[2]
