Description
This online workshop on audio was co-organized by Kirk McNally, Assistant Professor of Music Technology at the University of Victoria (UVic) and Dr. Amandine Pras, Assistant Professor of Digital Audio Arts at the University of Lethbridge on November 9-11, 2020. It included six sessions: Studying recording production with Music Information Retrieval approaches; Student mixing/remixing competition; Audio mastering with Graemme Brown (Zen Mastering); Global music production; Critical listening and technical ear training; and a keynote address with Amy Kind (Grant Avenue Studios). This collection features video editing from 'Global music production' and 'Critical listening and technical ear training' funded by Pras' SSHRC-Partnership Development Grant.
